Mating a 302 to a F1 3-speed?

In a the "48f1" post, F-ONE describes his drivetrain setup, which consists of a 302 mated to an original F1 3-speed, via a custom bellhousing (possibly an Offy?).

I'm thinking this might work for my '49 F1 project, which is slated to receive a stockish 302 and a 9" with more highway-friendly gears. Does anyone else have any experience with a similar setup, or knows if anyone sells these bellhousings?

Wilcap

The Wilcap company out of Pismo Beach make a 302 to early 3spd adapter bellhousing for 350.00 according to their websight. They also distribute the famous Sharp flathead manifolds and heads. They also offer pressureplates and clutches.
