I was reading a link that I found here on the forum about engine specs, and the 351w and m have the same bore and stroke my guestion is can I use the m pistons in my w or will I have a problem with increased hight of the m piston, the differance is about .178 and do I need to use the rods from the w or will the pins fit,is this worth trying.If it does work what differnce can I expect compresion,hp,and torque if any,justmassing around with some parts I have laying around thanx.

 

Nope, won't work. The rods won't either as the M and W have different journal sizes.
