Performance Transmissions
I've noticed several of you have BTS transmissions and I would like feed back on them. Are these trans all that they are talked up to be? How long have you had it? Any problems? Anybody with other brands that they have had for any length of time? My 99 F350 PSD 4x4 SC has 127,000 on it and it is time
to replace the transmission for several reasons but first and foremost I am looking for reliability. I bought this truck at 106,000 and love it with plans for an intake, chip, exhaust and possibly a diferent turbo in the future. I'm willing to spend the money but any info would be greatly appreciated.

I've managed to keep my original tranny intact so far, but when I need to get it rebuilt, it'll be by BTS. I know a lot of guys with highly modified trucks that have a BTS tranny, and nobody has managed to hurt the tranny yet.

I have only had my BTS for a short period of time. All i can say is WOW! That is how the stock tranny should shift. It is a whole new experience driving your truck. Brain offers a 2 year unlimited mileage unlimited HP warranty. He pretty much tells you "try to break it" If you ever think of a cheap or turbo, or basically an increase in power, you need a BTS.
