What's the differance?
What is the differance betwwen a 13-56 and 13-45 transfer case and will either one work on a 89 f-150 with a four speed that is two wheel drive? I am wanting to convert to four wheel drive. Thanks

bw1356 replaced 1345 in late 80's or early 90's. It is said that the 1356 has a magnesium case, stronger than aluminum 1345 case. They look about the same to me. Both bolt up the same. Some 1356 tc's had slip yoke rear output.
