I have a 1999 V10 automatic.Is it ok to pull a 6,000 lb trailer using overdrive?I live in Seffner Florida, and I pull to the Smokies twice a year. Have pulled My trailer two times now "Oct and April".
Some people tell me it is ok some tell me no. Ill take my advice from someone that realy knows, thats why I joined this forum. I trust real Ford people.

Hope you come around often. 
The 4R100 is designed to be able to tow in overdrive. Unless it is hunting excessively then leave it in OD.
