I know several people with the Rhino, they area happy. I have heard comments about the Line-X, good ones.

It seems to be a matter of preference, one looks different than the other.

I have ordered a S-Crew and will use it for hauling mulch some. and wood and bicycles for camping. I have decided on a Line-X, even though I have to drive 100 miles to get it done. They do Rhino's locally.

If you are kinda rough on the truck bed, Rhino is thicker so might absorb shock better, but I think the Line-X has a better look.

Bedliners

We have folks with both kinds here at work. Rhino does not allow stuff to slide around the bed. LINE-X is smoother and cargo can shift on it. If you're more interested in being able to slide loads in & out, I'd go w/ linex. If you want things to stay put, I'd go w/ rhino.. Dogs seem to do better w/ Rhino too..

i agree with Russ. I have a Rhino on my 04 supercab and love it. My friend got a Line-X. He likes it but stuff does tend to slide around.

I have a 2001 Dakota (looking to trade up) with a Rhino Bed Liner (Spray). I've owned pickup trucks for years (more than I care to admit). I've had trucks without, with drop-in liners and now the spray on. BY FAR... spray on is the best.

I use Rhino and it's unbelievable.

Advantages: 1/4"+ coat of a beautiful rubberized surface.
Comes in colors (mine is black)
Non-slip surface. What ever you put down, it doesn't slide around (within reason of course) Adds a rust protection that NO drop-in could ever provide. ALL drop-in bed liners have scratched the paint simply from normal movement and vibration - and it traps water under the liner. Rhino is sprayed directly on the paint and permenantly bonds - forever.
Adds nice weight for sound proofing and strengthens the bed. After time, most beds will begin to rattle - old age (we all do it). Rhino bonds everything together and totally eliminates rattles.

Disadvantages: None that I have noticed (Had it for three years). VERY durable.

It costs around $500.00. I hemed and hawed about it at first but after seeing the look and experiencing durability, it's the best bed liner out there and WELL worth the cost.

I'm going to make sure that my new F-150 has NO bedliner. The FIRST thing I will do is get Rhino installed. It takes about 1/2 day. They mask off the entire truck and put it in a "Spray room". The spray is extremely high pressure and they spray it on in layers.

Look in your local phone book for a dealer. Only a few people did it where I live (Ft. lauderdale" so you might have to drive to get to a dealer. More information can be found at: http://www.rhinolinings.com

I can't stress it enough... it really is the best protection for your investment.
