Wheel corrosion

Wheel corrosion
Hey there--Have 99 F350 dually with polished ally rims. There is some pitting and corrosion on the surface around the center caps on the rim itself. I haven't had the truck for more than a couple of weeks, so I don't know much about it. Was wondering if anybody else has had this problem and what do you suggest to clean it up. I assume I could polish out some of the surface corrsion, but not sure what to do about the pitting.
