Is there a particular sensor?

I’ve had my check engine light on for a long time and I have tried the suggestion mentioned here the last time I asked a question about it. All to no avail. Now there is a new piece to the puzzle. With the extremely cold weather we have been having here in Jersey the Check Engine light has been out for the last 3 weeks. It was nice while it lasted. So my question is this, is there a particular sensor I should replace that would put the light on in weather above 25 degrees and shut off below 25 degrees?

Thanks Jim C

Your truck has an Intake Air Temperature sensor and an Engine Coolant Temperature sensor. You could have a problem with either of those but the best thing to do would be to get it scanned again and see what codes there are now.

the list of obd2 trouble codes is a mile long, so guessing is not the thing to do.

Plug into it and see whats giong on, then post your results and we can help you with it from there.

good luck.
