Puting power brakes on
ok...I am probaly about to tackle this even tho I have replaced most the brake stuff on my soon to be daily driver again, and it is stoping great I would like to be alittle bit more lazy and not have to push down so hard.....so my truck has manual brakes i want power so I am gona buy a brake booster I dont think I am geting the Master cyl considering i just bought a brand new one will my new one fit it?..also I need some one to send me some pictures or maybe draw something so i know the way to plumb the vac line in......I ahave done the searches and found lots of great info just need alittle more.....thanks

I had a doner truck for parts when i did it .its a 1 hour job if you have the parts .i put a power brake unit off a 70 2wd on my 72 f100 4x4.i had to change the rod from the pedal to booster .your vac line should go to the back of carb or intake depending on your set up there should be a 1/4 or 5/16 metal line coming off them or its capped off and you will need to get the fitting from napa or somewhere.un bolt your master cyl. from firewall and rebolt to booster (you may need to rebend lines a little to make fit)make sure brakelines are not touching exaust manifold or steering shaft.i used the same master cyl. that was on my truck for man. brakes and its worked fine.this way you dont have to bleed brakes.if i had to do it again id get someone to help me take the hood and hinges off because there right in your way.good luck
