Outstanding service!!

Ok, I am not a dealer or an advertieser for this company by any means. I am just a VERY satisfied customer. I placed an order last night for a cb antenna, mount, cable, and spring. Went to school as normal at 7:30, and when i came home for lunch at noon, i had a call from them, they said that the mount i ordered wasnt in stock, and to call them back because there was a mount in a "kit" (basically mount with the coax attached to it) that i could substitute. I called around noon, and considering how busy businesses get during lunch time, I was only put on hold once, and it was for like 15 seconds, and i never got any recordings or any of those stupid "press 1 for electronics" things. The guy said that instead of buying the mount and the cord seprately i could just get it in a kit, but the only difference was that the cord is permanantly attached to the top of the mount . Unfortunatly i needed it to come out of the bottom of the mount (stake pocket mount, need that cord underneath), and have a removealbe cord. So they guy put me on hold for the 2nd time while he consalted with his collegues, for like 30 seconds max, and then came back on telling me that they will take the mount out of the kit, change the stud around for me so i can have a removealbe cord come out the bottom. and send me that one, he just said not to be suppiresed cause it wont be in a package.

All of this monkeying around just to satisfy me at no extra charge, and the best thing is i didnt have to wait 2 weeks for the dumb mount to come in. They just changed a few things around with the one in the kit. I can almost guarentee that the people at bigger companies would have just told me to either take the one with the permanent cable out the top, or to wait the two weeks. the stuff was shipped today and supposed to be here on the 5th via ups ground. This was at www.walcottcb.com I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about getting a cb radio or accessories. Their customer service was outstanding, prices were good, and very quick service, no waiting. They went the extra mile for me, so i'm going to be reccomending them to anyone who's lookin for a cb or antenna/accessories. Also note, that when you order somthing, it says that you might get money back, because if they can ship 2 oversize items together, they will do that to save you money. So you know its a good honest company, not some greedy place that would just pocket the savings in shipping!

If you have any stories about how someone went the extra mile for you, lets hear them

Great Story !!!
It's not often that you hear of a supplier going out of the way to modify an existing product for your special application w/o charge. And offering a savings on shipping, not in my world !!!
I'm glad that you told the world about this place. They deserve all of the business we can give them.
