various light problems
Well i do not know where to start so here i go my 98 expy 5.4
eddie bauer, has the following lights working headlights,turn signal lights some acceories lights radio,compass, & stop lights,fog lights, & now this is the list of lights that do not work no parking lights,no lights on dash or the lights on window switchs basicly no lights on the inside of vehicle & the other odd part of the problem is that the lights will not dim on the radio & compass with the manual switch on or with the auto lamps as you turn on the lights manualy or automaticaly they just seem like you did not even turn the manual switch. Now i have gone thru all of the fuses in the vehicle, is ther any connection with the fuse boxes under the hood? First instinct to me is the main headlight switch. have any of you guys run into this problem or any like it.

Besides switches malfunctioning, and fuses blowing, there are relays protecting the circuits, to reduce wiring loads. So it sounds like you may have one or more relays that are bad. They are almost as easy to replace as fuses, just plug and play. Owner's manual or the 'AutoZone parts locator can help you locate those that seem to not be performing. tsdrallyer: Hey guy do you have any idea of which reylays to look
for & in which area to look for them in cab or under hood, I have
enough experience to know that they should be clicking to be
opperating but the owners manual is not helpful in this area & the
zone came up with component location not found. Do you tsdrallyer or anybody else have the info handy in a haynes manual?

went to buy the headlight switch, but something was telling me
just look over the fuses again & bam sure enough just one mini
