1995 F150 rusting :(

1995 F150 rusting :(
Well I live in Michigan, Just south of Detroit and I live the salt belt. My 1995 F150 is getting rust on the bottom of the tailgate and the drivers side rear wheel well. Im guessing that if you drive a truck year round in the salt belt, your gonna get rust on it before its even 10 years old. I've had my truck 4 years and when I bought it there was no rust on it. Sorta sucks that its rusting. You guys that live in Cali, Flordia and any other place that doesn't use salt in the winter are sure lucky.

Whenever you can, take a hose and spray everything underneath. I always make extra sure the cab corners are clean, and spray up over the rear wheel wells until water runs out clear. It seems to help, no rust has appeared for me yet.
