I am using my Ranger as a sort of test bed and one of the things I'm doing is adding a colloid additive package to the RE fluid. Though the RE is excellent by itself, its operating temperature (read this as friction) can be reduced substantially with the addition of PTFE (1.0 microns partical size) and synthetic moly colloids (0.3-1.3 microns). Both substances are inert and will not otherwise affect the fluid.
