Flareside/stepside bed steps

Flareside/stepside bed steps
Does anyone out there know if there is a company reproducing the steps for the bed that attaches in front of the fender on the flareside bed for a 73-9? Mine are pretty rotten and I would love to replace them.

There is no aftermarket part for the step. Your best bet will be used or if you can find NOS.
My steps are rust free but I have to replace bothe bed sides, front and rear x-members and patch a quarter size hole in both fenders.

They are not made at all. I was the one searching for them awhile back. I fellow FTE'r had a set and sold them to me for $150. You will just have to search till some turn up. It took me over 6 months to find a set. They make every part but these for the stepsides. Also I think the steps are interchangeable from 53 to 79 because in the 26 year run of these beds very few parts changed (fenders, bed sides (2 style flat and slanted) cross members, tailgates tail lights (most styles will interchange), floors, bulk heads etc)

Thanks for the replies, even if you told me waht I didn't want to hear lol Sure seems like someone would pick up the ball on these parts. They should interchange from 57-79, seems to me. Okay, I'm done venting now.
