Next X ??
I like the look of the new F250 so does anyone think Ford is smart enough to make the new X on the chassie? I looks to be strong enough to still be 3/4 ton, stick a V10 in and I would be in line.

We have an F150 plant across the river in Norfolk. While they are king of the 1/2-ton trucks worldwide, and their chassis has been improved greatly (boxed now instead of open channel ... just like the old Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 from 25 years ago), I doubt you'll see the Excursion based upon it. The Expedition? Likely. The Mighty-X? No.

Well the X is dead once this run is done, with the sales of the Surburban doing so well I can not see Ford doing something like them. Offer a 1/2 ton X and a 3/4 for those who wish to tow, if you look the X's tow capasity is not much more than a 1/2 ton truck, in fact I think it is only 400 lb more than the new F150. So a new X could be put on the chassie and beefed up some to do everything the X does now and be more refined doing it.
Don't get me wrong I like the X and don't want to see it go, I would hate to have to shop Chev because my next ride will either be a 3/4 ton surburban on the next gen X. So if no X no Ford.
