Rough Start

I have been having trouble starting my 2001 PSD. It takes a few times to get it to fire up then when it does it sounds like it is slowly firing each cylinder one by one after about two minutes of running it runs fine. I have replaced the glow plugs but that seems to have helped only slightly. The dealer says bring "her in" sounds like injectors or something along that line!

I use fuel treatment, no codes showing, temp around 30 degrees. This truck has been a champ up to now. Has 130,000 miles on it.

Did you replace the glow plug relay? Sounds like nothing more than cold cylinders.

The relay would be more common. M ost glow plugs that
I have seen with many more miles than yours still work fine. You can jump the relay with channel lock pliers. Its like jumping an older starter relay.
