just installed my new pioneer deh-9400mp and WOW... it really brings my sound alive!!!

now.. if i can figure out the (at least) million settings... i will be dialed! lol.

now.... we will all know it is dialed when i get the damn porno dispalying on that kick *** little screen

 

Sounds cool, I am thinking about adding 2-12 inch subs behind the rear seat, im not sure if I can get enough air for 12s though.

i think u could fit two 12's back there... i am running two tens and could fit a third.... my box has about 10 inches free on each side...

i mounted my amps under the rear seat.. one on each side with a cap next to each.

i will try and get out with tah camera this weekend and get some pics for ya....

 

You should be able to get 2 12"s back there. I was running 4 10" Cerwin Vega HED's in a custom box behind my Crew Cab back seat. The box has 4 sealed chambers at .6 cubic feet per chamber. I didn't like the Cerwin Vegas after all, so I am in the process of switching to either JL W3's, or the new Premiers.

one thing you should look into (as i forgot to mention earlier) is the mounting depth of your subs..... i know with my dual coil fosgates, i would not get a 12 back there due to the depth!

 

abendx, how do you like your new deck? I ordered my Premier 8440MP today with the XM tuner and Terk SR1 on glass Antenna. Can't wait for it all to get here.

 

the hu is GREAT... i love it.... but the damn thing has TOO many settings... seems when i find a new one, more come out from nowhere???

you will like your new unit..... i think that model u are getting has a few less settings, which may be a good thing after all. lol

let me know how you like the xm... i was thinking about it, but can't justify the 10 bucks a month for the blues station.... as all the other types of music i like are readly available on the local stations.... i have direct tv at home and do listen to the music channels a lot... so may be it is worth it???

 

I know I will love the XM. I live in Idaho, the stations here suck. I have direct tv too, always on the digital music. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Sirius will be launching nationwide by June, As well.
I travel a lot and listen to all types of music.
It doesn't even comapre to DirecTV's music.
The Comedy Channel alone is worth the $10.
