Clutch Problems in 1994 Explorer.
I go to push in the clutch and it hits the floor with no resistance. I was able to pump it up a couple of times and make it start to work, but at the first stop, I could not get it out of or into gear. Pumped it up again and turned around back home.
Later that day, I checked the fluid and it was fine. Just today, I checked again (after a couple of weeks) and the fluid level has not changed. Today was 30 degrees (as opposed to the 0 degrees the day it happened), and it still has the same problem.
The Clutch was replaced less than 5k miles ago, but I don't think they did the Slave Cylinder at the same time.
Is there any way I can tell if it is the Master or the Slave Cylinder? If the Master, I will go to a Mechanic I trust to get it fixed, if the Slave, I will probably go back to the place that did the clutch and complain that they should have replaced the Slave at the time they did the clutch.
Any Help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!!!!
