'04 rear end problems
I just purchased a '04 F-150 with a 3.55 L/S with which I am most pleased. However, while I was "in the market" I ran across 2 other vehicles that were of the same type that had mysterious rear end problems that were being corrected at the dealer. These problems were significant enough to warrant the replacement of the whole rear end due to excessive whine at highway speeds. Does anyone know the scoop on this, and if there are any service bulletins out that I should be aware of?
