Exhaust question
I know this should be in the exhaust forum but it is a specific question about this model year truck.
My truck (in signature) has an exhaust leak. Right below the passenger's seat I can feel the exhaust coming out. What part of the exhaust is this? The catalytic converter? It is split on the top and when the truck is idling I can reach over to under the passenger's seat and feel the floor and it is HOT! This is from inside the cab. When I drive the truck down the road and stop and feel the floor it isn't hot because the wind is keeping it cool. I guess I should get this looked at ASAP. Is there an easy fix for fixing a split catalytic converter if that is the problem? Thanks.
