Has anyone had this put on their trucks? if so does it turn yellowish, any info good or bad would be great! Idont like to look of flares( I just lifted my truck) but I want to save on the lower paint!
thanks for any info!
Yeah Yeti it is a clear sprayed on coating that protects against chips! My truck came with a little strip from the factory alonfg the bottom of the back fender but I need it to be bigger! just curious if anyone has used this on not!
Someone was offering some of the clear tape for FREE in a post a couple of days ago. You might search for it and see if he has any left. It should work- and if not, you can peel it off and try something else.
Maybe we could go into business, producing them!!!
I think Rockwell has the clear protective tape, there is a post somewhere on here you could check out.
Both my 99 and 01 have the clear tape from the factory.

When I worked in the bodyshops Dupont had a clear stone guard or
stone bruise protectant that was sprayed on
It was used on lower rocker panels and below the belt line or the useless
side moldings .
Don't know if it still around or not
