Low lifes
Ok, my truck got hit today in a parking lot while I was inside shopping and there was no note, nobody by me when I got there and nobody by me when I left. My chrome trim around the wheel well is dented, and then there is a long rub/scratch, the a dent about the size of an 81/2x11 sheet of paper and about 2 inches deep, how should I fix this?

Wow, what a bummer, that driver is a weasel. Not having a pic here, I would say the dent will need to be pulled as flat out as possible. I dont know your skills , or your tool inventory, but a stud welder is preferred over drilling holes in your fender to pull the dent. Once its pulled out , hammer/dolly on it till you get it flat (or contoured to match) as possible, then look thru these posts here on "repairs" and they have really good info on the sand, filler, prime, painting aspect of it. good luck,
