Alternative source for rebuilt 94's
Have given up on my junker carbs that came with my 3-2 manifold. Am about to get ahold of Charlie Price at Vintage speed and buy one of his rebuilts... 150 bucks. Seems reasonable to me but spending like an engineer on a school teacher's budget caused the wife to suggest looking for an alternative. Is there one out there? Price's stuff has been good in the past... I don't mind paying for quality. Thanks. himmelberg

So what is wrong with your 94's? And what castings do you have?
I wouldnt give the time of day to Price. You might check into 97Heaven (Josh on HAMB) or locate some on EPay.
A pro rebuild around here is $80 or so.
I do my own but Im just a cheap SOB.

Carl... my center carb has been stripped of its identifying marks with a grinder. The pic might give a hint. The secondary carbs are 2100's that I've altered with plugs on the idle and transition circuits as well as the jets and pv's. As you can see in the pic there is no linkage for the choke and fast idle arm (if that's what we call it...not sure). I just need this to be able to up the idle... it runs ok but begs for the pressure regulator. Fuel line and fittings are on the way. Any ideas?
