Smile extended cab

I am looking at the new F-150s and have a question..
I need to know if there is enough room to fit two car seats and a 6 year old in the back. Any answers will be appreciated.
Concerned Dad.

I sometimes put my granddaughter in my Scab and if anyone sits in the passengers seat they have to pull the seat up better than halfway. A six year old would be comfortable for a long time say 12 to 14 if they are not giants. My newphews are two 15 year olds and a 13 year old and they all fit in the back seat with plenty of room. They are skinny fellas though.

Richard,
Should be absolutely no problem at all. This year, there's an added 6" of cab space to the super and regular cabs, so it's roomier than previous supercabs.
Since you're a "concerned dad", just in case you didn't know.....have you heard yet that these F150s are rated as the safest half-tons on the road?
I'm almost 6' tall, and fit 'comfortably' in the back seat for short trips. Anyone prior to puberty should be able to easily sit 3 abreast in the back, or have seats in the places of butts.
Kudos on your decision, you're gonna love it!
If you're concerned still, talk to a salesperson and see if they'll let you put the seats in there, and have your child sit there too~~I'm sure they'd be happy to oblige.

the crew cabs are huge in the back. the regular extended cabs are a little smaller but still very roomy. keep in mind that a truck is alot wider than a car. i fit 4 people across my bench seat and i have a manual tranny. that setup should have plenty of room for you. if i were you i'd grab a few car seats and your kid and go test drive one. strap everyone in and see how they fit. i also recommend having the salesman drive for a little w/you in the back seat and front passanger seat. it gives you a different perspective on everything.

Richard,
First of all.........THANX for your SERVICE with the Army!!!
*tipping my hat*
All the best to you over there, and wish you a safe journey and return. So much to say about that, but since this is a truck forum, I hope that's enough.
Keep us posted on your findings, if you can, and also of your safe return.
