I am looking for input on these.
The main site Sanderson Headers is not up to date, but Century Performance is.
They show a set of shorties that are listed for cars. SDH-FF390 & SDH-FF391
I called them, and their "tech" guy said that they were only for cars.
Going by the dimensions that they show, it looks like they would fit.
Let me know what you think.
I think they would probably fit OK but I do have a question.
Why not just get the SDH-FF427 pair? According to the site,....
"This header fits the Ford 427/428 block in 1954-Up Ford pickups. This header also fits the 360/390 FE Ford engines."
To top it off they are about $50.00 cheaper. True they are not as "short" as the other model but in a truck the 427 model should fit fine.
I tried those "Fits all Ford Trucks Sanderson 427" headers and sent them back they were so bad. Lousy port match to EBrock heads and was so tight against block and pan on pass side I was afraind of burning my oil pan. Check out FPA - Gtex has also used them.
