When you flush it, you can open the drain **** on the radiator, remove the thermostat, and put a water hose right in the block to flush it out. Thats what i did, and it worked great.
Yeah, my thermostat on my 94 just went out half a year ago! Make sure you get the 195 degree one, not the 180 degree, otherwise yours will run cold and waste gas. Thats what mine did with the 180. Unless you have the 2.3, then i believe your supposed to use the 180, but i'm not sure, they'll all work i'm pretty sure, just how hot you want your engine to get

Maybe this is obvious, but someone has to say it. Haveyou checked the coolant level. If yes, was it green or brown? Old coolant can cause overheating too.
