Just purchased a set of Toyo Open Country T/A LT. Closest to stock size. They are a .6 inches smaller in diameter, but an inch wider. They look two inches wider though...I like the width vs. height. The size is 285/60/18. They are about $225 ea. but worth the money. I've had all sorts of tires and Toyo is top!

My FX4 came with the LT285/65R18. These I will use for the summer. For winter driving, I am using BFG AT LT265/70R17 with a set of XLT wheels I purchase from the dealer. Size difference between the 2 is .25".

I bought Nitto Terra Grapplers 325/60R18 which stick out the fendor wheels about the same distance as the stock nerf bars. I put them on Eagle Series 178 18x9 Chrome wheels.

The only real tire out there is the BFG all-terain. pricey but worth every penny. Great on or off road.

Sorry guys....but you just can't beet the Toyo Open Coutry T/A. It's killer in the mud, snow, rain, and a very quiet tire. It's hard to get an E rating for load and still have all these aspects! I've had them all and Toyo kicks butt!

I have heard good things about Toyo, but I just can't bring myself to see the name "Toyo" on my American made truck! Just my opinion.

BFG Mud Terrian LT285/70/17 with only 350mi. These are nearly 33".Stock LT245/70/17 around 30.5". Tires are a little rough and loud. But with how quiet the F150 the extra noise is hardly noticable, now equal to other trucks with 'normal' tires.
