I am finding it difficult (at best) to find a shop reair manual for my 2003 Ford F350 CrewCab Dually 4x4 with the new 6 liter diesel. I don't want the typical Chilton's. I am looking for the type of manual that has how to repair a/o work on everything on my truck, right on down to interior replacement. Is this even a feasible request? I'm almost clueless.
You can find sources for shop manuals here with the search function. You can also buy OEM shop manuals from your dealer. You may want to look for the Haynes brand of manuals also.
I just bought a shop manual for my Lincoln from www.helminc.com. It is the same manual the dealers use. You should be able to find one on a CD as well from this site or sometimes you see them on ebay.
When I went to my local dealer to get a factory service manual for my Cadillac, the parts desk guy gave me the Helm web address and said I should just order it from them myself. He said I'd get it faster and a whole lot cheaper if I ordered it myself and save the dealer mark-up.
It's the best place to go. The only problem I had was that they do not ship expedited to Canada & they quoted me 4-6 weeks to ship standard. I only live 250 miles from Detroit. I could have walked there and back in less time. So I had it shipped to a friend in Iowa and he re-shipped it to me.
