egr valve

Check Engine light is in and codes pulled. Says it teh EGR valve. Where is that located on a 95 explorer 4.0.

Ithink theres 3 or 4 different EGR codes. Post the code here for more directions

I did not personally pull the codes. Not for a lack of trying though. I had them pulled at a garage and this is what they told me. I'll try to find out what they were.

If they won't do it again for free, go by Auto Zone. They will pull the codes for free...

The egr valve is on the drivers front side of the motor. It is easy to change but you might have to heat up the large nut (1 1/16) on the back side. hope this helps .
