Radiator Question

The radiator split in my 79 f150 yesturday and I was wondering if the radiator from my ol 77 f150 would work. They are both 351m's. The 79 has a/c and the 77 doesnt. They look about the same, but the 79's looks a bit bigger. The mounting bolts are the same from what I can tell. So do you think i will have any problems with this swap. Its cold and I dont feel like messing around with it too much lol

i would measure the radiator on the 77 to make sure it would work first, and as you stated the mounting bolts are the same, it should work.

Should work. The a/c trucks usually had a little bigger radiator to accomodate the added work of running the a/c in the summer time. If it runs a little hot in summer with a/c going, then you may need to get the correct rad, but it'll be a lot warmer out then...
