I have a '91 ranger 2wd 4cyl auto and a '87 4wd 6cyl 4spd (wrecked). i want to take the drive (motor, trans, and trans case, and front drive gear) from my '87 and put it in my'91 2wd. anyone done this? will it all fit? are there too many differences in the '87 and '91? let me know. thanx.
yes the frame is salvageable the truck was only rolled. (all damage is from top of hood up). that is what we were considering doing but I thought it may be easier to swap the drive gear since i am going to have to have a motor swap any way (87 motor is locked up). but thanx for the info.
