You'll need to measure the length of the old beams and the new ones. Need to also measure from the "eye" on the end of the beam to the holes where the radius arm mounts on to the beam. Also measure the width and make sure the beams won't hit eachother I would guess. Make sure the fork of the radius arms are wide enough to go over the beams. Hmm, might be able to use the radius arms off of the '91, but that opens a whole other can of worms. The new radius arms might mount differently, and even if they do mount the same way, you'll have to make sure they don't position the beams too far back or ahead of where your old beams traveled. You'll have to use the spindles and brakes and all from the '91 also. Sounds like a mess! These are just some things you might want to check out first. Best thing to do is hold the old stuff up under your truck and eyeball it all. If you do it, let me know how it works out. Good luck with that!

do a search on the 61-66 forum for disc brakes, should bring up a few posts. i dont think the 80-96 will fit, seems like the spring seat was wrong or something. 65-79 are 1/2 ton are interchangeable. cheapeast disc swap for the drum brake trucks.
