seal change
I just bought a 99 PSD 4x4 CC dually. Both of my differential seals are leaking a small amount. I want to change the seals, but need the torque setting for the nut on the pinion shaft. Do these pinion shafts also have the collapsable shim in them like most other Fords I have had? Just wondering as I also get a little bit of hum when i hit 80 or above and was thinking maybe a new shim and seal and oil may cure this. Any info would be helpful, Thanks.
