What Year, what motor,? and a coil is all you have left so seems like it would be next on the list, unless you didnt put in new pickups under the rotor those ar said to go, i had this problem with my 87 f-150 with the 5.8 but it was the igniton modual, cheap and easy fix,
yes the whole distributor is brand new. ok, i put in a new coil last night still no fire to the plug wires!!!!!!!! heres a recap,
replaced whole distributor
replaced the control module
replaced the coil
checked the supply wires for the coil and module
still no fire to the plug wires!!!! the only things left to be replaced are the cap, rotor and plug wires wich were all purchased about 2 weeks ago before i had this problem!
Aolmost sounds like a bad ignition switch, if you look on the internet youll find some wireing diagrams for it, there are two power wires one if i remember has a resistor somewhere, if thats gone it may not have the right voltage to spark. oh and just an after thought, dose it have a condenser mounted to the coil?i know my 87 has one that could be bad therfore causeing not enough voltage to spark.
