do both of you guys have the 4" block in the rear.my front sits a little higher in front and i'm not sure how much the front springs will settle.i have the 2" block on my 250.If so,where did you get the 4" block and is it a factory block? when towing does the rear sag?thanks again.
Unless you have a diesel, the front of your truck shouldn't settle at all (if it happens to it probably won't even be noticable). The diesels aren't really supposed to settle much at all either (maybe an inch from what I've heard). I've had my lift on for about a year now and I can't notice a difference. You can get the factory 4" block or an aftermarket block from a 4x shop. All I have towed with my truck is a trailer with 2 quads and it didn't sag at all. Remember, the off the self kits are suposed to have the same specs as the factory springs so the amount of sag you'd get on you stock SD should be about the same as your SD lifted.
one thing to look for if you go aftermarket blocks is to insure they have the bumpstop built in as the stock blocks do..... i am under the impression that the aftermarket blocks do not have this.... chad, do your have that or did they stack ontop of the factory blocks?
thanks for the input.i will probably leave it alone for at least a couple of months and see if it does drop in the front,if not i will probably get the factory 4" from ford and deal with it later.thanks for input.
