Are you talking about air intakes products? What are the suppsed to do? Regardless of who makes the product, you're not going to see any significant gains from a new system unless it is a much improved "cold" type product. The last thing you want to do is suck in warm (or hot) engine compartment air into your system.
One way or another, it really doesn't make a difference. There's plenty of hype, but the best real-world dyno-proven gains I've seen thus far is 5 HP at 5500 RPMS (that's with a K&N FIPK).
IMO, save your money. Even a nice cold air kit will give you minimal gains (although it will make more noise come from the engine compartment).
Do intakes improve performance? Sure. But the only time they're worthwhile is when you're going all out (every little bit of performance adds up to something greater - much in the same way synthetic oil improves performance by reducing internal friction. Yes it works but no, it doesn't make your car instantly faster - it's just one piece of the puzzle)
Don't expect a supercharger in a box.
FWIW, I'm getting ready to throw my K&N FIPK in the garbage and use the old intake. After 2 years, I'm just not convinced it does anything. I've always got a Flowmaster Force II catback exhaust, and that doesn't do anything either, but I like the sound so it's staying (besides, the Ford stock exhaust costs almost 2X as much as the Flowmaster!)
I've been documenting my gas mileage meticulously, so I'll be able to give feedback concerning mileage differences but honestly, I'm expecting that there will be no difference.
