Unhappy electrical problem

I've got a question for anyone that can help me. I recently purchased a 1977 F150 4x4 with a 351m motor. The problem I'm having is that my lights flicker. Even the light on my radio flickers. I just recently had to replace my alternator and I thought that maybe that was the problem, but it wasn't. Any ideas on what the problem could be.

Have the voltage regulator checked in a parts store. Of course,,, make sure all grounds and electrical contacts are clean and tight.

Bad connections will also cause this problem. They can be anywhere from the battery to the fuse panel. Look for discolored wires or connectors that are signs of overheating.
