I have a simple guestion. Is this an pcv valve on the oil filler cap on my 85' 302. If so should there be something inside to close it when no pressure. looks same as valve on rear of oppisite valve cover over 8 cylinder.
Thanks for any info
My 86 302 did not have one... so I cut the line and added one... my engine also did not have an 02 sensor.... drove me crazy trying to find it...mine is what they call a ' transition' model... my mechanic said he could tell by the color of the test connection on the passenger fenderwell... red I think on mine....The Chiltons and Haynes were no help figuring this out...
Thanks for yopur replie GregoryB.
Gut at auto store said he did not think there are two pcv valves so now just elbows leading to air cleaner.Rirght or Wrong I don't know
thanks again
