i seen somewhere a supercab that the 2 side windows opened outward. does anyone know what year and what model truck those were on? i would like to find some to put in my 78 supercab ranger.
You can find those windows on ebay from time to time (yes, I have way too much time on my hands and browse ebay just for fun). If you look at your rear pillar you should already have tiny holes or indents to screw the latch into.
I've also been told you can buy them through National Parts Depot although they don't show it in their catalog. You mat try calling them to see if they do have the pop out windows available.
great, i'll givem a call. i think that will be a nice touch to the truck.
now if i can just find a longbed with dual tanks and the factory toolbox built into the side,.,...i'll be happy....and maybe divorced !
cant afFORD them both,so she may have to go!!
thanks ivanribic
My truck HAD them, I took them out and installed the reguler ones because I couldent find new Hinges. The hinges are plastic and dont weather to good. They are packed away somewhere? I have another cab with the regular windows but they have a Chrome insert Gasket, Im thinking of transplanting those.
WOW I thought mine were the popout type? In 79 were they all the same or a were some different? My new super has the plastic hinges on them, I'll have to take a look at them
