Light Switch Modification
I just joined and seen a guy that has an 03 F-150 he made a modification to the head light switch that allows him to turn on the "Fog Lights" seperately. Does anybody have any idea on how I can do this to my new 03 F-150 Reg Cab, 4X4. 5.4L Thank you

are you talking about doing this with the stock switch...or adding your own switch. you can always just bypass the stock switch with an after market switch. Keep in mind ford makes the switch the way they do because most state laws prohibit the use of fog lights with the high beams on...thus the factory set up switchs them off when you flick the high beams on.

well here is the deal...I have gone through this argument before...and FTE is not the place to handle inter service rivalry...there are bars across the nation to help sort that out...but fyi I have never seen the water based seabees conduct an engineering operation that affected the land based Infantry. other than that I have exhausted all info I have on this....there are a couple really awesome postings on here that deal with fog lights and the switches check em out.

Be careful on the info from the searches. Some info is for the older style light switch and if you follow, or try to follow those instructions, you may break your switch. The **** for the newer style light switch does not remove. You have to remove the entire panel and do some rewiring. Simple once you locate the correct instructions.
