Interior & Cargo Lights

I just bought a used '01 SuperCrew and I've only had it a couple of days. Now, I don't know if this has been goin on or if I am just now noticing it, but the internal lights and the cargo lights are staying on for a very long time after I park the truck. I have been inside for about 30 minutes now and I went back outside and the're still on! Is this normal or should I be concerned about this?
Thanks,
AL

I'll bet that your door latches need to be cleaned. The switch is in there. I would spray a little WD-40 into the latch assembly and open and close the door a few times. This should fix it, unless the dash light dimmer switch is turned too far and has the lights turned on.

Make sure your interior light dial is not on, also check to make sure both doors are shut tight.

AL...dont know where you live, but I usually find out its time to WD-40 the latchs in the winter, and when its cold out.

Thanks guys. The lights finally went off after almost an hour. I'll try lubing the latches and see if that helps. I'll report back in the morning with my findings.
