Lifetime Coolant ?
Has anyone tried the new long life coolant in your B-II ? My wife has a 2000 Mustang that has a warning label stating "only use green coolant" that meets Ford spec. no. #####. I have some high mileage Havoline (orange) coolant that meets GM specs, but also has the same Ford spec number on it !!! I have heard the long life stuff is harmless to cast iron, but eats aluminum. Any ideas or recommendations?

From what I read on a non Ford (GM) site the stuff works great as long as you change it in 5 years 50 K miles & have "NO" air trapped in the system due to leaks. The air causes the antifreeze to corrode the metal be iron or alumun. I would stay with the green unless the car came with the red.
