blocks are the same bore, but the the rods and crank are different, the externak bolt patterns are the same except the 351 intake is wider, the heads will inter change but the 302 heads have to be drilled for the larger 351 head bolts or the 302 block would have to be drilled and taped for the 351's larger head bolts. hope this helps DW
