I'm having trouble (quite possibly because I am not too smart) getting an avatar image so I decided to put my ride on my signature.
I thought maybe I could copy/paste the thumbnail url from the forum codes into the avatar space and it would work... NOT...
If anyone can give me clear (ie- lead me by the nose
) through the avatar process, i'd be grateful

The image you use as an avatar must be a gif image not jpg. You will need to convert the image from jpeg to gif.

The image you use as an avatar must be a gif image not jpg. You will need to convert the image from jpeg to gif.
