Well I don't like you.....but only because your breath stinks

Don't take not getting posts answered personally. Nobody has time to read every post every day, and sometimes posts fall off the front page before someone that knows the answer gets to see it.

If you were talking about that slight idle surge that almost everyone has.... ignore it. Probably not worth the time or effort to track down and fix a 50 rpm swing.

As far as your front end goes, all of it is replaceable. You had it in the air, where was the slop comong from? Ball joints, tie rod end, track arm bushing, steering gear slop? Figure out which part is moving and allowing the slop in the wheel then ask a specific question about that part. That will make it alot easier for people to figure out where you're coming from.

For the 50 rpm surg just change your oil. Takes care of it ever time and i get some power back. I instaled the oil cross over hose and now the engine runs great.

the front slop is when i grab the top&bottom of the tire and try to move back & forth the surging problem dosent feel like 50 rpm feels more like 300-400. plus if you try to take off slowly fom idle sometimes the thing will just jump up to 1400-1500. no matter how gently i mash the pedal i can hear the click from the pedal area then WHAM 1500 rpms just like that. thanks for the help JC

P.S. i change my oil every 3000

thanks cookie i never would have guessed ill start using some mouth wash lol

The play top to bottom on the tire is usually indicative of a bad ball joint, but it may be as simple as the the clamp nut that holds the hub on has worked it's was loose.

The rpm jump sounds to me like a bad throttle position switch, or th idle validation switch, but I dont know for sure how the pedal is set up on the 94-97's
