Manual Lockers
Is anyone aware of a company that makes manual locking Hubs for the 98 and newer Vac. Locking system? These Automatics just are not strong enough. Also, Where can I find the auto-locker clips and puller to remove them?

Many auto parts stores carry the tools to pull them. If you can't find one, check with your dealer. There is no manual hub replacement for 98-99 Rangers because of the design of the system. You can either replace yours, or convert to the new system used on 2001-present Rangers which doesn't use hubs at all.

No, only the torsion bar suspension Rangers can use the "constant engagement" system that is still in use now. A '96 is set up completely differently. You can actually install manual lockers which you might consider.
