The price is right, you may not say its that good of a deal but to get an apperance package from the big 3 these days for 2500 bucks is pretty good in my book, and you can get it in 4 wheel drive which is even better.
I don't like it. But if the germans can get the American truck buyer to shell out close to 3000 bucks for a paint and graphichs package, all show no go, then more power to them.
Although I'm sure it's a capable Truck... It ain't no Super B!!! This smacks a lot of the Mustang Cobra II. I know it is a truck, but "No Mercy" It's no different then a Body Kit on a Honda.
Only it looks ten times better because its not in primer and it dont sound like a weedwacker. A 5.7 in one of those things in two wheel drive has got to be fast, not as fast as the lighting but it may just take the chevy ss.
in 78' mopar produced a car called the" super bird" under the plymonth badge also richard (The King) petty drove the superbird version#43, it had a real tall slim soiler on the rear and a nose that came to a point, the dodge had a paint stripe on the rear with a bubble bee... hence the super bee. i think they ran hemi's in those, not sure about nascar version's

i owned a 70 super bee i always thought the 'bee' was in reference to it being a 'b' body mopar. dodge had the daytona for their winged car. a lot of people think those noses are fiberglass but they're really aluminum. the super bee was an up graded coronet . an alternative to the road runner. i think the years for the winged cars were 69 and 70. not positive on that though.
