Are headers worth the money? Does anybody have headers and can report what kind of increases that you have seen? I have the v-10, so please only respond if you have the same. I am getting a cat back installed soon, but is it a huge increase to do the whole thing? I am only concerned about power/efficiency, not concerned about sound. Thanks, Chad

Although I still haven't made it to the dyno to get actual numbers, IMO the headers are definitely worth the money. Low and mid-range torque are definitely up indicated by my towing experience. The cat-back was great, but adding the headers is WOW!

I just found this article on [link:www.bankspower.com/FNN/Banks_FridayNight_040502.html| header flanges] today.
NoMo,
Great page on your header installation! I've been wanting to add headers, and your page sure has inspired me!
Why did you chose the Banks over the other brands (Gibson, Borla, JBA,)?
Did they add much 'under-the-hood' noise? I'm still shooting for "quiet", with headers and 'cat-back'.
Any other tips?
Thanks again for the great page(s)

Thanks. Banks & Borla are the only two brands that include a replacement Y pipe- an extremely important feature. I chose the Banks Powerpack over the Borla offerings because I like the "system" approach and the Banks stuff is a little heavier built... see the flange article I linked to above. Instructions, fit and quality are all top-notch.
With a CC long-bed truck, the noise in the cab is about the same as stock. Might be a little louder if the truck is a short one. Outside, the noise is quite a bit louder than stock. It's not obnoxious, but the neighbors will know you've got ponies.
