Computers ?

Will a computer from a 89 F150 302 work in a 91 F2504x4 351W getin rid of a truck and taking all the good stuff before it goes to the bone yard thanks.

The motor should run fine, 5.0 harness in a 5.8, its been done many times on this board. Now whether or not it will control your transmission is another story. Later

thanks alot for the info the 89 does shift I think with a cable and the 91 is computer W.S

your 89 computer wont work because the 92 computer controls the tranny as well.
