auto trans shift problems
F250 sd 2001 4x4 diesel cc sb 4" lift 315 tire 373 gears microtuner chip
with either stage in, the tranmition doesn`t want to shift od or lock convertor some times have to let off throttle to shift worse when towing, before superchip shift two distinct times 1 od 1 torque lockup spaced nice now when it does shift does both at same time psr always said trango but I don`t know lookin for advise any help appreciated

My interpretation:
The Superchip Micro Tuner has two programs: 60HP & 80HP. Both programs cause the TC to lock as soon as the truck shifts into OD. It didn't do this before he installed the SCMT. Someone at psr (Powerstroke Registry??) suggested a Transgo "shift enhancer" but he'd like some more opinions.
I agree with Monsta- load the factory code back into the ECU and see if the tranny starts to shift correctly again. If that fixes the problem, ask your SCMT dealer for assistance in correcting the problem with the Superchip codes. If the TC still locks up prematurely, you'll need to have the tranny serviced.
